Comfortably Numb

Good Grief!! Why can't you blog at least weekly, you lazy sod??? I don't know, it all seems so utterly tiny in the grand scheme of things. But let's try to get it together here in the last quarter of '09. My gig at the old Potbelly's has ceased, they only want someone during the day at lunch from Mon-Fri. I have always tried to avoid situations where I am turning all of my paycheck over to pay for child care, to me it seems like cheating. So I will try to get back into the dark underbelly of playing bars at night for drunken horndogs looking for some action. GOOD TIMES!!! Stay here for the inevitable commentary from club owners, bookers and such, it is always entertaining what these folks have to say when they are either trying to get you to play for nothing or won't hire you at all. Case No.1= A sports bar has live music 4 nights a week, but they set you up infront of a large-screen TV (which they do not turn off) and the volume of the crown drowns out the acoustic music. GENIUS!!! Stay tuned.....
